Are the photos and videos on Avopix really free?

Yes, they are! Avopix offers completely free photos and images perfectly suitable for your website, social or print. You can also buy and download premium photos and videos provided by Shutterstock – with 10% discount. All materials are always provided in high quality and resolution.

What license do you use?

All free photos on Avopix have been released under Creative Commons Zero (CC0). See exactly what is allowed and what is not.

What format are the files in?

All the photos are available for download in JPEG format. Videos are mostly MOV.

Do I have to give photographers any credit?

You don't have to, but it's always highly appreciated! ❤️

Can I upload my own photos?

Absolutely! You can create your own account and upload unlimited number of photos. There is no limit as long as the uploaded images comply with our rules. Thank you for supporting the community!

Someone has uploaded my photo without my permission!

Please contact us with the details (you can use "Report Abuse" function on the photo/video page as well). We can request a proof of ownership if the violation is not obvious. Thank you for your cooperation we take this issues very seriously.

How does Avopix ensure that the photos and videos belong to the author?

We have our own control system as well as manual checks conducted by our team.

How can I add my website or Instagram to my profile?

Go to your My Account page and edit your Profile.
